JOB DESCRIPTION
School Nurse
Take responsibility for the general health of students at the school, and management of medical emergencies, and support the academic and administration teams where needed.
Responsibilities:
- Attend to children who are in need of medical assistance.
- Put in place clear steps to be taken in the event of an accident requiring emergency or external medical attention or delivery and take charge of the process.
- Co-ordinate immunisation programmes.
- Provide advice on childhood illnesses and the management and control of infectious diseases.
- Support the academic and administration teams where needed.
Requirements:
- Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board (with diploma/degree)
- BLS Provider Qualification
- Proficient in English and Bahasa. Mandarin would be an additional advantage.
- Attendance: Be present between the hours of 7.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. daily and other hours as reasonably required by the school.
